Who we are
Counterweight is a trading name of Unicorn Operations Limited, registered in Ireland, company number 774973, registered office Mullen, Frenchpark, Ireland. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Write to hello@counterweight.ie about anything in this notice.
Visiting this website
The site is static HTML and CSS served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes your IP address, your browser's user agent and the address of the page you ask for. Cloudflare does this for us as a processor, under its data processing addendum.
We do not set cookies, run analytics, use tracking pixels or embed content from other sites, and we do not keep access logs of our own.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Emailing us
If you write to us, we receive your name, your email address and whatever your message contains. We use it to reply and, if you go on to engage us, to prepare the engagement. Our mailbox is hosted by Proton AG in Switzerland, a country the European Commission recognises as protecting personal data adequately.
Our legal basis is taking the steps you ask for before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or, for other enquiries, our legitimate interest in answering them (Article 6(1)(f)). Correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is deleted two years after our last contact.
The Price your exit skill
The skill runs in the AI assistant you choose. We do not receive your bill, the estimate or anything else it reads or produces unless you send them to us. Your assistant's provider handles them under your own agreement with that provider. Downloading the skill is an ordinary page request, covered above.
Client engagements
The skills we use in a Teardown or another engagement run in your own AI assistant. We receive only the outputs you choose to share for review or, where you ask us in writing to run a skill for you, the data you provide. Both are covered by the engagement agreement, not by this notice.
Transfers outside the EEA
Cloudflare may process request data outside the European Economic Area. Where it does, the transfer relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct or erase it, to restrict or stop our use of it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email hello@counterweight.ie and we will answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes
If what we collect changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
